Meet Us.

After losing young spouses to cancer, we created Prepare Your Affairs to share what we have learned about the value and importance of preparing for the unexpected. While we hope that each family's plan will not be needed for many years, we know that accidents and illness can change everything in an instant.

Using our experience and our access to others who have been through this journey, we have gathered and organized helpful tools and resources to simplify the readiness process. We are eager to assist you in your preparations and help you achieve peace of mind knowing your family's needs will be met.

We invite you to share these resources with others whom you love.

"Accomplishing hard things requires preparation, a realistic understanding of what may be required, and a willingness to put forth the effort." -- Andi Jones

The relief and sense of accomplishment you'll feel when you have your affairs in order is energizing.

01

Peace of Mind

You will rest easy knowing that if something unexpected happens, the surviving family members will have the resources they need to endure grief and move forward with a productive and joyful life.

02

Confidence

Having a solid plan in place to protect and sustain survivors gives them confidence and strength to adapt and overcome the biggest challenge they'll ever face.

03

Control

A good end-of-life plan will allow those left behind to make decisions because they choose to, not because they're compelled to.

04

Freedom to Grieve Properly

Having a plan that minimizes the burdens of dealing with a loved one's death allows the family to grieve in a healthier way and to support other loved ones in their grief as well.
