Prepare Your Affairs, in partnership with Washington County and Multnomah County, is hosting the second annual Living After Loss Conference: Moving Forward After the Death of a Lifelong Partner. This one-day event provides connection and resources to anyone whose spouse or life partner has died.

We are currently taking applications for presenters. If you are interested, please complete this form.

Following are details that may be helpful:

  • Date is Friday May 31, 2024 from 9:00am to 3:00pm

  • Conference location:
    World Forestry Center in Washington Park
    4033 SW Canyon Rd
    Portland, OR 97221

  • Age of Attendees: Mostly 55+

  • Anticipated attendance is between 50 and 100 people

  • Presenter sessions will be approximately 25 minutes

  • Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided

  • Technology is available for slides and videos

  • Dating Again

  • Living a Vibrant Life while Grieving

  • Finding New Purpose in a New Normal

  • Managing Holidays and Special Days with Grace

  • Creating Boundaries with Family Who Think They Know What’s Best for You
